About BOON

BOON Ministries Corp is a nonprofit charitable organization committed to supporting the holistic development of Black youth by investing in the adults, scholarship, relationships, and resources surrounding them. These Terms apply to BOON's website and related digital services.

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using BOON's website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any policies referenced here, including the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Nonprofit and Charitable Purpose

BOON's website supports its charitable mission by sharing information, research, resources, and media, and by offering ways to give, volunteer, partner, participate, and connect with the organization. Website content and services do not create a commercial relationship with BOON except where you separately purchase merchandise, register for a paid event, or enter another clearly identified transaction.

Charitable Contributions

Gifts made to BOON support BOON's charitable mission and programs. Contributions may be one-time or recurring, and unrestricted or designated where BOON offers a designation option. Payment processing is handled by a third-party giving platform.

Permitted and Prohibited Use

You may use the site for lawful informational, educational, ministry, charitable, research, personal, and organizational purposes consistent with BOON's mission and these Terms. You may not use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to compromise site security or introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or organization, engage in fraudulent donation activity or misuse forms, scrape the site where prohibited, infringe intellectual property, harass or abuse others, or interfere with site operations.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content is owned by or licensed to BOON Ministries Corp and may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. This includes the BOON name and logo, Born Out of Necessity branding, The Ville, written content, photography, video, podcast content, research, framework materials, educational resources, downloadable tools, and graphics.

Research and Educational Resources

BOON publishes research, scholarship, reports, summaries, frameworks, ministry tools, discussion guides, and downloadable resources. Availability on the website does not grant permission to resell, republish, alter, remove attribution, or represent BOON's work as another organization's work. Research participation

Volunteers, Partnerships, and Events

Submitting a volunteer form does not guarantee placement or create an employment relationship. BOON reviews volunteer interest, determines whether opportunities are available, sets role-specific expectations, and may require training or additional screening where appropriate.

Submitting a partnership, sponsorship, church, ministry, school, research, or organizational inquiry does not create a partnership agreement. Formal partnerships are subject to separate written terms where necessary.

Events may carry their own registration terms, cancellation policies, photography or video notices, and conduct expectations. Additional event-specific terms may apply.

Podcast, Video, and Media

BOON provides content through The Ville, YouTube, podcast feeds, embedded audio, social media, and articles, for informational, educational, ministry, and community purposes. Third-party platforms are subject to their own terms.

Merchandise and Shop

Merchandise purchases are commercial transactions and are not automatically charitable contributions. Pricing, taxes, shipping, returns, exchanges, and fulfillment are governed by the commerce provider's terms. Where a portion of a purchase is represented as a charitable contribution, BOON discloses the applicable amount and conditions.

User Submissions, Stories, and Photos

When you send a contact message, volunteer form, partnership inquiry, podcast topic suggestion, testimonial, or research interest form, submit only information and materials you have the right to provide. Community stories, testimonials, participant quotes, and photographs are published only under separate permission or release procedures. Submitting a form does not give BOON rights to your image or story.

Third-Party Links and Services

BOON may link to or embed third-party services for convenience, including Candid, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, podcast hosting, giving providers, commerce providers, and partner sites. BOON does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or terms.

Website Availability

BOON may modify, update, suspend, or remove website content and features at any time, and does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Informational and Educational Disclaimer

BOON's educational content, ministry resources, research summaries, faith-based commentary, and podcast conversations are provided for informational, educational, ministry, and charitable purposes.
